Custom Pet Artwork

Do you just do dogs and cats?

Our artists enjoy painting through out the entire animal kingdom! whether you have a giraffe goldfish or jackal, our artists will turn them into an awesome portrait for you!

Do you do people portraits?

This question comes up more often than you would think. 

While we focus mostly on pets, we have no problem doing people too! In fact, these can be just as funny as the pet portraits

Is my pet's photo good enough to use?

As long as you follow these guidelines, you should be fine! We will email you if we have any problems with your photo 

- Make sure your photo is in good lighting (not too dark/bright) 

- Take your pet's photo at eye level for the best effect Your pet does not need to be looking directly at the camera. 

- Make sure picture quality is not blurry/pixelated. Most smartphone cameras do the trick just fine!

- Try to make sure your pet's photo is taken close up for the best results. We need to see your pet's detailed unique features 

- Make sure ears/whiskers and other facial features are not cropped out of the photo. 

- Lastly, if you are really not sure whether or not your pet's photo will work, just send us an email with your pet's photo attached and we will let you know! You can contact us at: woof@dogeface.com

Does the background of my pet's photo matter?

Nope! As long as we can see your pet's unique features you should be good. If you have any questions about pet photos you can always message us, email your photo, or read our photo guide!

What happens if I send a photo of my pet with their collar on?

Sure, no problem! Our artists never include pet collars in the finished portraits unless asked by the customer.

What happens if I send a black and white photo?

We are not able to add color to any black and white photo. Please note if you send a black and white photo we will create a black and white portrait.

My pet is wearing an accessory in the photo I sent, what will happen?

Because your pet's accessory is apart of his/her unique personality, we will always include these into the final portrait unless asked otherwise. Hats, bow ties, and anything else you can thing will work.
The only accessory we do not add is the pet's collar.

Can I change my order?

If there are any changes you need to your order (theme change, new photo, etc...) Please try your best to contact us within 24 hours before your artist begins working on your portrait.

Can I request additional accessories?

To keep production times reasonable, our artists follow the given templates. We do not add accessories like hats, cigars, etc...

Can I see/revise my pet's artwork before it ships?

Of course! If you would like to see/revise our work before it ships, select the "proof" option. (The proof option is located on the product page above the "upload pet photo!" button.)

What process do you use to create your pet art?

Our team of digital artists use professional painting programs to paint over the photo of your pet's face. This is a technique that allows us to capture every detail while also giving our artwork that hand painted feel. A mixture of blending and digital brush stroke techniques as well as stylizing methods are used to create your pet's portrait!

How long does it take to create my pet's portrait?

Most of the times during the year it takes our artist 3-7 working days to get to complete a portrait.

During the busiest season it can take our artists anywhere from 7-14 working days to have your pet's portrait ready to print/process/and ship.

Afterwards shipping to the US takes 6-8 business days 

Rest of the world shipping takes 8-10 business days 

After you send us your pet's portrait the whole process will take around 9-15 working days!

Shipping times and cost

After you submit your order one of our talented artists will begin working on your pet's custom portrait. The creation phase usually takes 6-8 business days. During busy holiday seasons it can take around 7-14 business for your artist to complete your portrait due to the demand. 

Shipping times vary depending on your country

USA: 6-8 Business Days $9.99 (Free Shipping on orders over $125)

Canada: 8-10 Business Days $14.99 usd (Free shipping on orders over $125 usd)

Rest of the world: 8-10 Business Days $24.99 (Free Shipping on orders over $200)

Will I get a tracking number?

What is the "Skip Queue" option?

Skip Queue allows you to skip the line and have your artist start on your pet's portrait right away! This is especially useful during the holiday season, for upcoming birthdays, or other close events!

Instead of taking a total of 9-15 working days to arrive, you can have your pet's portrait delivered within 8-10 working days! (US)

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?

Because we use FedEx to deliver your pet's portrait, we are not able to ship to P.O. boxes.

Where can I track my order?

Click the link "Track Your Order Here" on the top menu. Then enter in your order number + your email!

Refunds/Returns

Do you offer refunds?

Because there is a lot of opportunity for fraud, we are not able to offer refunds on 100% unique custom made items/portraits.

That being said, if there is any problem or mistake made on our part, we will work to fix it right way.

We offer artwork previews so you can make sure you're 100% happy with your artwork before printing!

What if I don't like the artwork?

If you are not sure whether or not you will like the artwork, you can request a "proof". This will allow you to preview the artwork before we print it and make any changes you think need to be made. 
But don't worry your pet's portrait is in good hands! Our customers always love the final artwork because we always overdeliver on quality while paying attention to detail.

What is the best way to get in touch with you?

On the bottom right side of your screen you can try using the "live chat". If someone is online you will get a reply back ASAP!

If no one is online at the moment, leave us an email and you can expect a reply back within a couple of hours. (please give us around 24-48 hours during busy seasons) 

Do you have a customer support phone number?

If you are not sure whether or not you will like the artwork, you can request a "proof". This will allow you to preview the artwork before we print it and make any changes you think need to be made. 
But don't worry your pet's portrait is in good hands! Our customers always love the final artwork because we always overdeliver on quality while paying attention to detail. 

Holiday/Gift

Will my pet's portrait arrive by Christmas? 

We advise you to place your order before the end of December 10th to ensure arrival by Christmas (Regular shipping)

(Skip queue has a high rate of arrive by the 25th for orders placed before the 12th) 

Do you offer a gift wrapping service? 

At this time we do not offer custom gift wrapping. Your pet's portrait will however be delivered in a protective opaque packaging meaning your suprise will not be ruined upon delivery.
